Libertarian Call to Caucus and County Convention!

Iowa Libertarians,

On February 8th, 2020 at 1:00pm, Iowa Libertarians will meet to caucus and convention at the county level. Additionally, we will have a virtual caucus option for rural Iowans in unorganized counties and for Iowa Libertarians unable to participate in their in-person caucus.

Why caucus Libertarian?

  • Cast your vote in the LPIA straw poll to let our delegates know your preference for the Libertarian presidential nomination
  • Caucusing is the only way to become a credentialed delegate at the 2020 LPIA State Convention on February 28th and 29th in Des Moines (details to be released shortly) and to be able to vote for state party officers  and choose our national convention delegates
  • Caucusing Libertarian in-person means you will be able to join your county party affiliate and have a say in it’s direction and leadership, this is a great way to get involved locally

You must be registered to vote on the Iowa voter rolls as a Libertarian to participate in both virtual and in person caucuses, any participants who are not registered will be removed from consideration and will be unable to be credentialed as a delegate.

Not a registered Libertarian? Please click here today and register to vote in Iowa as a Libertarian.

We look forward to your participation. Site details will be released early January 2020 and virtual caucus opened for participation caucus week. Watch your email and www.lpia.org for site and virtual caucus details.

As well, we are looking for Caucus Site leaders, if interested, please fill out this Site Leader Form.

Thank you,

Joseph Howe
LPIA Chair
