LPIA Caucus Date Announcement

The Libertarian Party of Iowa is pleased to announce our caucus date and time for 2020: Saturday, February 8th at 1:00pm!

The LPIA held it’s first ever caucus in 2018 and organized 23 county parties, join us in 2020 as we grow our existing county groups and form new ones though a countywide caucus and county convention combination event! County groups will be adding committee people and electing officers, so if you’re looking to get involved now is the time.

Additionally we will be forming our delegation to the LPIA 2020 State Convention, if you are wanting to be a voting delegate, attending our caucus is a must!  At our convention we will be electing state party officers, nominating federal senate and congressional candidates and electing our 2020 LNC delegation who will help decide our presidential ticket!

Of course, we will be offering a straw poll so Iowa Libertarians can have their preferences heard for the Libertarian presidential race.

We will be announcing sites, delegate details and a potential virtual option as details come together.

We are looking for volunteers to be site leaders, to check attendees in and to lead off the process.

Thank you, we look forward to seeing you on caucus day!
