Four days to go until Election Day 2016. Please keep promoting Libertarian candidates and remember to vote.
For Iowans who want to vote absentee, if you mail in your ballot, remember it must be postmarked no later than November 7. The keyword is postmarked. The Postal Service does not routinely postmark mail so get your ballot in the mail today, November 4, so it will be counted. Some County Auditors will have their offices open on Saturday, November 5, for in-person voting, and you may vote early, in person, on Monday, November 7. Check with your County Auditor’s office to confirm where you can vote early and where you should vote on Election Day.
If you requested an absentee ballot but did not complete it, you can still vote on November 8. Take the absentee ballot with you to your polling site and exchange it for an Election Day ballot. If you are out and about when you remember you need to vote and do not have the absentee ballot with you, still go to your polling site. You will be given a provisional ballot that will be counted once officials confirm your absentee ballot was not submitted. Remember, you can register to vote on November 8 and cast your ballot immediately afterwards.
Do not let the negativity of the Republican and Democrat presidential candidates keep you from voting. You have a positive choice in Gov. Gary Johnson.
