The first major event of the newest political party in Iowa was held on Friday, March 24, 2017. It was the Libertarian Party’s pre-convention social event, featuring the convention’s keynote speaker, Larry Sharpe. New Libertarians, party stalwarts, including past chairs, and national party representatives mingled and talked politics, from local offices to national policies.
There is still availability at the convention on Saturday, March 25, 2017, for those who want to attend but have not yet bought a ticket. Speeches start at 10:00 a.m., with registration and party business being conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Price with lunch is $50. Come join us and experience the energy and excitement that will be in the room as Libertarians look towards gathering well over 2% of the gubernatorial vote and retaining party status in 2018.
