Thank you to everyone who voted. With your votes, and the hard work of volunteers and down-ticket candidates, the Libertarian Party has reached major party status. This is a designation by the State of Iowa given to parties whose candidate at the top of the ticket – this year that was Gary Johnson for president – gather at least 2% of the statewide vote.
