More Media Coverage for the Libertarians

Thank you to all who attended the rally for presidential nominee Gary Johnson on September 3, 2016. Reading and listening to news stories about the event, it is clear people were impressed not only by the candidate but also by the amount of interest and support for the Libertarian choice.

Here are some more news stories: Bleeding HeartlandIowa State Daily The CourierNewton Daily News

Reinforcing Iowa’s role as THE place to be for presidential politics, a photo taken at the rally for the Associated Press appears on several news websites both inside and outside of Iowa. For example, the photo was used in this story about the Virginia Richmond-Times Dispatch giving Gary Johnson its endorsement for President.

Our state candidates are also receiving news coverage. LPIA Chair Keith Laube was on The Kent Rice Show (KASI 1430 AM out of Ames) today. He talked about Gary Johnson, Eric Cooper (Iowa House Dist. 45 candidate), and John Evans (Iowa House Dist. 49 candidate).

The Libertarian Party’s candidate for U.S. Senate, Charles (Chuck) Aldrich, was on the The Doc N Lefty  Radio Show tonight. Doc may be able to claim credit for being the first media person to declare the Libertarian Party a major political party!
