In just three months, absentee voting for the General Election begins in Iowa. From observing past elections, we expect several precincts to have more than half the votes cast before Election Day. We can also expect people to learn about Libertarian candidates after a vote is cast.
Help us elect Libertarians by spreading the word of our candidates before absentee voting begins, from Presidential Nominee Gov. Gary Johnson and his running mate for Vice President, Gov. Bill Weld to nominees seeking Iowa House and Senate seats.
Iowans will also have a choice for U.S. Senate, Chuck Aldrich. Chuck made this comment to LPIA.org about his reasons for running: “The US is in debt. The five most expensive reasons are War, Occupation, Foreign Country Welfare, Corporate Welfare and the Federal Reserve. As a US Senator I would work to end the money wasted in these areas.”
Enjoy your Fourth of July and don’t be afraid to talk politics – and remember to help gather signatures for our candidates.
