The nomination and state-by-state roll call of delegates is being live streamed at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/libertarian-party1. The first round of voting has taken place with the Iowa delegation casting their votes as: Johnson-3, Petersen-3, Feldman-2, McCormick-1, McAfee-1, and 1 absentee as the delegate was still trying to get to the convention floor from his hotel at the time of first-round voting.
On Saturday, delegates to the convention cast ballots to select the six candidates to be considered for the nomination tonight. The five candidates receiving the most votes debated late that evening. The national party’s press release on this event can be read below.

Libertarian presidential candidates debate
ORLANDO — Last night delegates to the Libertarian Party’s nominating convention selected six candidates to compete to be the party’s nominee for President of the United States, five of whom qualified for and participated in the evening’s highly entertaining televised debate.
Candidates needed the votes of 30 delegates to be nominated; they needed 10% of the 740 votes cast to be included in the debate (74). Vote totals were:
Gov. Gary Johnson – 226 (30.5%)
Austin Petersen – 106 (14.3%)
Darryl Perry – 105 (14.2%)
John McAfee – 97 (13.1%)
Marc Alan Feldman – 89 (12.0%)
Kevin McCormick – 45 (6.1%)
All others – 72 (9.7%
