Keith Laube, chair of the LPIA, giving the state of the party speech said the party is growing at about 30% a year. There are about 2600 people registered as Libertarians in Iowa now.

Jake Porter, running for Secretary of State, gave an update on the State of Iowa voter registration process that had erroneously left some people registering as Libertarians registered as Other. Jake, Keith and other party members helped persuade the current Republican Secretary of State, with help from some Senate Democrats, that there really was a software glitch in the motor-voter registration system.
