Our Libertarian Party is now being presented with the ultimate in political opportunities.
Thanks to a claque of Washington warmongers, the Democratic and Republican party leaderships are lining up in favor of a war with Syria. All Americans (minus about 9% of us) disagree with their establishment.
Thanks to the risks taken by our greatest living patriot, Edward Snowden, and the patriotic heroes who went before him to expose the Federal surveillance state’s hideous crimes against our Republic, the great majority of the American people realize that the security state is a threat to them, personally, a threat that must be stopped.
Now, above all, Libertarian parties across America should be rising to the opportunity with our clear Libertarian message: Peace! Freedom! Prosperity! We are the one significant political party that calls for peace and rejects war and foreign adventurism. We are the one political party the insists that the Federal surveillance state must be put down via peaceful legal means like the mad dog it is.
That is the message we need.
