A new Quinnipiac University poll was released today that like the NBC News poll from last week has Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson at 12% in Iowa. In the poll, Johnson finishes second in those 18-34 year old voters with 29%.

If Johnson receives 2% of the vote in the general election, the Libertarian Party of Iowa becomes a major party under the Iowa Code.
