Become active with the Libertarian Party! There are many ways that you can take action:

• Join our petitioning efforts to advance issues
• Join our 2008 petitioning effort and help get our candidates on the ballot
• Become a LP candidate! Email Ed for details.
• Look up/write your state legislators
• Look up/write your senator
• Look up/write your representative
• Get ideas from the Libertarian Volunteer Newsletter
• Learn how to lobby with the Iowa Libertarian Legislature Fund
• Join the national Libertarian Party's e-mail announcement list
• Donation to LPIA
• Membership

Libertarians living in Iowa's Fifth Congressional District, western Iowa, are encouraged to make their voice heard through the new Congressional District Five (5) list server.

The purpose of this group will be to provide a forum for western Iowa Libertarians. Discussions may be of both a political and social nature. Members will receive updates on news from the state party (LPIA), be able to provide feedback to their district's LPIA representative, and help to coordinate grass roots efforts for political and social gatherings.
