Libertarians Running for County Offices

Keith Laube is running for Jasper County Supervisor. Jasper County is served by three supervisors, each elected for a four-year term. If Keith wins, there would be true political balance on the county board, with one elected official from each of the three top parties in Iowa.

Rick Stewart is running for Linn County Sheriff. He says the county now has a sheriff for the 20th century, but needs one for the 21st century. His priorities include, ending the drug war nonsense, returning military gear to the Army, and eliminating racial profiling.

Ed Wright is running for a position on the non-partisan Guthrie County Hospital Board. The board has seven members. Three of those members will be chosen in the 2016 general election. Ed is proud and amazed that seven people have filed to run for those three seats in the hopes of serving a six-year term in an uncompensated public office.
