Campaign Volunteers and More

marco_lou.jpgLou Jasiaoff (seated), regional director for Midwest targeted states for the Johnson-Weld presidential campaign, and Marco Battaglia (standing), volunteer coordinator in Iowa, hosted a meeting in Des Moines on August 12, 2016.

Statewide and national media have been paying attention to candidates across the political spectrum, even though a certain Des Moines television station still refuses to have corn kernel jars at the State Fair for anyone other than the two statist parties’ candidates.

Check out posts from Libertarian Party candidates to the LPIowa Facebook page to see a few of the articles and TV stories about Libertarians. In the weeks ahead, you will see more signs of the Johnson-Weld campaign, in addition to almost two dozen Iowan Libertarians seeking office.

Volunteers are needed and welcome. Volunteers for the presidential campaign can sign up through Facebook at Iowans for Gary Johnson. If you are interested in helping candidates for office in Iowa, contact their campaigns directly. The list of candidates is available on the Candidates page of this website.

Thank you to all who have helped get LPIA candidates on the ballot. We have the signatures to put the presidential/vice-presidential candidates on the ballot. We have kept working to get the most signatures possible before the nominating petitions are filed, that is why you may have seen changing deadlines for sending in nominating petitions.
